WATER CUTS
Please note those connected to Tala water supply in Kamares will be cut Monday,
Wednesday and Fridays 0800 to 0800 the following day. The rules and scale of charges
can be viewed here.

LEPTOS INCENTIVE
Leptos is offering a monetary incentive scheme to existing houseowners and residents in
Kamares to assist the Group's sales in its development areas.
It is not within our Constitution to give open-ended support to commercial endeavour, but
the KVHA committee is happy to advise that, if such an offer is of interest to you, you can
contact Leptos executive Anita Hopkins on..99387311 or speak with Elaine in the
Kamares Club office to obtain full details of the scheme.

23 Mar 07 - When living in your own home is a criminal offence.
On the 11th February, your committee wrote to Pantelis Leptos on the subject of certificates of
compliance. Two days ago (21 Mar), a reply was received from Leptos.
This reply, a copy of the original news article and the KVHA's letter are posted on the Members
page.
With regard to the letter from Leptos, members should bear in mind the following caveat.
The company is expressing its own opinion, which probably has not been tested in law.

Car Tax
Members can now pay their road fund tax on line. Link can be found on the Links page.
The Tax Office Has Moved
To find the new location going towards town, drive past the old office on the left hand side, and
proceed to the traffic lights by the Law Courts, turn left. The new tax office is in the recently
opened government building about 100 meters on the right. It is large and has many relocated
government departments there. All the directional signs are in Greek, and car parking is
virtually impossible; there being double yellow lines on every road around the building. The
entrance required is directly opposite New York Sweets. Inside is a receptionist; this morning
there were several people waiting to get directions.
If you are paying tax, go past the receptionist, and turn right down the first corridor and try each
office door until you find the right one. Self help seems to be quicker than waiting at the

desk.
